Wish List

Features, art, and documentation the project needs help with. If you can contribute any of these, or know where to find them, please reach out.

Art

Space section sprites for Ultima II, III, IV, V

Art

The rebuild currently only has space-view sprites for EGA and FM Towns. We need dedicated space tile sets for Ultima II, III, IV, and V so each graphics mode can render the space section with its own art instead of falling back to the EGA default.

Better Mondain sprites for daemon/gargoyle sets

Art

Several of the Mondain end-fight sprite sets reuse a generic daemon or gargoyle graphic. These could be replaced with more accurate or higher-quality sprites that better match each platform's art style.

Vehicle sprites: aircars, shuttles, and carts for II, III, IV, V

Art

The overworld vehicle sprites (aircars, shuttles, horse carts) need dedicated versions for the Ultima II, III, IV, and V graphics modes. Right now many modes fall back to the base EGA vehicles.

Ultima V complete dungeon monster sprite set

Art

A full set of dungeon monster sprites drawn in the Ultima V art style. The current Ultima V dungeon mode has limited monster coverage compared to other modes.

Ultima II dungeon monster sprite sets

Art

Dungeon monster sprites drawn in the Ultima II art style. There are currently no Ultima II dungeon variants, so any dungeon encounter in that graphics mode falls back to EGA.

Documentation

Help confirming and enhancing the credit list

Documentation

The in-game credits roll is shown below. Several entries are marked uncredited or may be incomplete. If you can confirm a missing composer, artist, or contributor, or if you spot an error, please let us know.

Help documenting Ultima IV dungeon wall color combinations

Documentation

Ultima IV uses different color combinations for dungeon walls at different depths and dungeon types. We need help mapping out every wall/floor/ceiling color pairing across all eight dungeons and their depth levels.

In-Game Credits

The current in-game credits roll. If you can fill in a gap, correct an error, or identify an uncredited contributor, please get in touch.
